Give girls the chance to say “Hello” to freedom

Every night, thousands of girls in Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand, go to work in the city’s red-light districts. Many can’t afford an education, and poverty has robbed them of their choices. But you can give them a way out. Every $50 you give helps introduce one girl to freedom by providing critical needs such as a place to live and training in a valuable trade like baking.

In Thailand, women are expected to be the ones who will provide for their families. Girls from poor, rural communities are often drawn to the big cities by the promise of economic opportunity, but they soon find themselves working in bars and on the streets. More than 45,000 girls and young women work in the sex industry in Pattaya and Bangkok alone.

These girls endure humiliation, abuse, and shame day after day. Many start as teenagers and will quit only when they are too sick to continue … unless someone helps.

That’s where you come in. Your gift will provide resources that will allow these girls to get off — and stay off — the streets. You can help provide:

· A safe place to live at one of two Freedom Homes
· Medical care
· Trauma counseling
· Education
· Spiritual discipleship in a family-like environment
· Vocational training at the brand new baking school

My goal is to raise $5,000 to provide these urgently needed items for as many girls as possible.

Image a girl’s pride when she completes her education or learns marketable skills in baking and can finally provide for her family with dignity.
